Introduced to the Faverges workshops by Georges Novossiltezff, lacquer has become one of the House's technical and aesthetic signatures.
An emblematic example of S.T. Dupont's savoir-faire, the Popotée technique plays with material and light. Using a specific sponge, the artisan applies lacquer in irregular strokes, creating a pictorial effect that gives the surface a vibrant impression under light. Each gesture, both precise and spontaneous, reveals a unique depth.
