Since 1872, S.T. Dupont has been designing and manufacturing exceptional accessories, respecting the noblest artisanal traditions, in its workshops in Faverges, nestled in the heart of the French Alps. In 1941, the House demonstrated its full creativity and expertise by creating its first prestigious lighter, destined to become an iconic and coveted object worldwide.
S.T. Dupont's Atelier Haute Création is dedicated to the most exclusive and custom-made pieces. The artisans of this workshop, with many years of experience and jewelry-making expertise, create unique pieces. In addition to designing custom-made pieces for an elite clientele, these innovative collections push the boundaries of traditional jewelry, incorporating avant-garde techniques and cutting-edge technologies.
It is the story of one of the world's most famous cathedrals which, thanks to the work of exceptional artisans and master builders, will reopen its doors to the public in December 2024. The gargoyles and chimeras have finally returned to their place on the roofs of Notre-Dame de Paris. With them, we enter a narrative of rebirth, craftsmanship, and flamboyant reconstruction. THE GREAT ROSE WINDOW
More than mere objects, the pieces in the Notre-Dame de Paris collection embody an artistic spirit that pays homage to culture and history. The Ligne 2 lighter rests on a vermeil base, evoking an altar and echoing the cathedral's rose window, with its vibrant and captivating blue and turquoise colors. The rose window is meticulously reproduced using blue chalcedony and lapis lazuli, enhancing the piece's artistic and sacred aspect.
The base features motifs imitating cathedral flagstones, giving the piece exceptional depth and visual richness. On the back, a gargoyle stands out in grey-white calcite, adding a dimension of stone carving to S.T. Dupont's craftsmanship.

THE SPIRE OF NOTRE-DAME DE PARIS
Stylized reproduction of the Notre-Dame spire, with a slender structure in blue lapis lazuli, white calcite, and vermeil, reminiscent of the gothic elegance of the cathedral's architecture. The base is adorned with finely sculpted gargoyles, emblematic symbols of the cathedral, which accentuate the majestic dimension of the piece. Vermeil details and colored stones add a special, even mystical, sparkle to the piece, a true homage to Parisian architecture.

AT THE FOREFRONT OF JEWELLERY EXPERTISE
THE FORECOURT
After 5 long years of work, the cathedral will finally reopen its doors. Given the scale of the event, we felt compelled to pay it the tribute it deserved. The Notre-Dame de Paris collection is therefore complemented by two new goldsmith creations.
First, the lighter, showcased by a patinated bronze base and designed as a reproduction of the famous facade. Magnificently colored, it recalls the cathedral's original rose windows.

THE GARGOYLES
Then, another masterpiece of goldsmithing, a writing instrument in the shape of the cathedral's spire, reaching a rare level of detail. A blend of colorful stained glass and silver, this piece combines grandeur and precision, making the writing instrument a tribute to the architecture and spirituality of Notre-Dame.
The bases of these two goldsmithing pieces are adorned with 4 gargoyles, often interpreted as the protective guardians of the cathedral. Their primary role is to channel rainwater from the roofs away from the walls to prevent erosion and damage to the structure.
The quality of craftsmanship and the attention to detail in each element make these creations unique objects, intended for collectors and connoisseurs of exceptional pieces.
