The dragon is a legendary creature found in Asian, and more specifically Chinese, culture, mythology, and folklore. Its body has a serpentine shape, accompanied by four short legs with sharp claws. Historically, the dragon was often chosen as a symbol representing the Emperor of China, due to its associations with notions such as wealth, prosperity, and strength. Despite its avian nature, the dragon's element is Earth, thus serving as a bridge between Earth and the Heavens. It is also the 5th of the 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac cycle.
