An emblematic technique of the S.T. Dupont house, the so-called Popoté technique plays with material and light. Using a special stamp, the craftsman applies irregular touches to the lacquer, creating a painterly effect where the surface seems to vibrate under the light. Each gesture, both precise and random, reveals a unique depth.
Le Grand Dupont Cling Popoté lighter in black Urushi lacquer with hand-applied Popoté décor. Fitted with a diamond-point guilloche cap. Palladium finish.
Equipped with a dual ignition system for yellow flame or blue flame, and the iconic "Cling" sound upon opening.
