In 1953, Mr. André Dupont, the son of Mr. Simon Tissot Dupont, created the brand’s first ladies’ handbag, the Riviera, for Audrey Hepburn. The bag was introduced as a limited edition and featured a secret compartment. Like the original icon, the updated Riviera also features a secret pouch concealed in the lining of the bag that is secured by a “lighter padlock” embellished with the brand’s iconic diamond head guilloche. This bag is made in Italy, combines soft and smooth grained full-grain calf leather on the exterior, and has a lining made of full-grain cow leather. Leather used is LWG certified.
