S.T. Dupont continues its tribute to the ancestral Japanese art of Maki-e. Each piece, meticulously hand-decorated by the master artisans of Wajimaya Zenni, unveils new designs enhanced with gold powder and coloured lacquer, depicting traditional Japanese symbols and bearing the signature of Zenni, the renowned atelier with which S.T. Dupont collaborates. The Samurai collection embodies honour and strength. Its design depicts the traditional armour of the samurai, elevated through the use of coloured lacquer and mother-of-pearl. The decoration also features a katana, the iconic weapon of these legendary warriors, alongside a skull and peonies, symbolising both the beauty and the fleeting nature of life. Le Grand Dupont Cling lighter featuring a Maki-e Samurai design crafted with gold powder, mother-of-pearl, black lacquer and gold finishes. Equipped with a diamond-head guilloche cap and gold finish. Features a dual ignition system with either a soft yellow flame or a powerful blue torch flame, as well as the signature "Cling" sound upon opening. Compatible flint: Red (REF 900651) Compatible gas refill: Red (REF 900435) Lighter supplied empty of gas. Gas refill sold separately. Screwdriver included for flint replacement.
