Strategy

S.T. Dupont's accessibility strategy is currently being structured. It aims to integrate accessibility from the earliest stages of digital projects, raise awareness among internal teams, and prioritize essential services for users. The initial steps consist of:

● Identifying the services concerned.
● Initiating compliance audits.
● Building a realistic and progressive multi-year action plan.

Contact person

A digital accessibility contact person is being appointed. This contact person will play a key role in:

● Coordinating the approach.
● Supporting the teams.
● Regulatory and technical monitoring.

A dedicated mission statement will be defined in the coming year.

Resources

Resources mobilised at this stage are mainly internal (project managers, IT managers, communication). External support is envisioned for:

● Assisting with audits.
● Training teams.
● Advising on accessibility best practices.

The objective is to structure human and budgetary resources within the framework of the multi-year plan.

Job Description

Integrating accessibility-related tasks into job descriptions is a medium-term objective. Discussions will begin in 2025 to identify the relevant roles (editors, developers, project managers, etc.) and incorporate accessibility concepts into job frameworks.

Training

Initial digital accessibility awareness sessions are planned to start in 2025. The objective is to initiate the upskilling of teams with:

● An awareness of disability and digital barriers
● An introduction to RGAA.
● A presentation of the challenges and regulatory obligations.
● Practical modules targeted according to profiles (writer, developer, etc.).

Governance

A cross-functional steering committee will be established, including relevant internal stakeholders (IT, communication, management, legal, etc.). This committee will oversee the progress of the action plan and ensure the consistency of initiatives.
