Rules for the S.T. Dupont Jules Verne Competition at its Le Bon Marché pop-up store from November 17 to December 31, 2025.
Article 1: Competition Organizer
This contest, titled "Jules VERNE Contest by S.T. Dupont at its Le Bon Marché pop-up store from November 17 to December 31, 2025" (hereinafter referred to as the "Contest"), is organized by S.T. Dupont, a French public limited company with a Management Board and Supervisory Board, with share capital of 14,155,547.94 euros, whose registered office is located at 92 boulevard du Montparnasse, 75014 Paris, France, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 572 230 829 (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizing Company").
The Contest is organized to mark the opening of the S.T. Dupont pop-up store (hereinafter referred to as the "Pop-up") from November 17 to December 31, 2025 inclusive, within the Le Bon Marché store, located at 24 rue de Sèvres, 75007 Paris, France, a store operating under the "Le Bon Marché" brand, operated by the company LE BON MARCHE MAISON ARISTIDE BOUCICAUT, a French public limited company with a Board of Directors, with share capital of 29,415,810 euros, whose registered office is located at 24 rue de Sèvres, 75007 Paris, France, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 414 728 337.
This Contest will take place during the same period as the Pop-up's opening, from November 17 to December 31, 2025 inclusive, during the store's opening hours.
The objective of the Contest is to promote the S.T. Dupont brand and its products in an interactive setting, by engaging visitors to the Pop-up.
Participation in the Contest is completely free, without any obligation to purchase, and is limited to the terms described in these rules.
Article 2: Conditions for participation
The Contest is open to any natural person aged eighteen (18) or older at the time of participation, residing in metropolitan France, with Internet access. Participants must visit the Pop-up location, scan a QR code, complete a form, and submit it from their mobile phone or tablet for their participation to be considered.
Excluded from the Contest are employees of the Organizing Company, partners or subcontractors who contributed to the organization, promotion, or execution of the Contest, as well as their immediate family members, defined as spouses, ascendants, descendants, siblings living or not living under the same roof.
To be eligible, each participant must comply with the terms of these rules and all applicable laws and regulations. Any attempt to defraud or circumvent the stated rules, by any means whatsoever, will result in the immediate and definitive exclusion of the participant. The Organizing Company also reserves the right to request any supporting identity or eligibility documents to verify compliance with the participation conditions.
Only one entry per person will be accepted for the entire duration of the Contest. Any multiple or non-compliant entry will result in the exclusion of the participant concerned. The mere act of participating in the Contest implies the unreserved and full acceptance of these rules by the participant.
Article 3: Terms and conditions for participation
The Contest will take place exclusively at the S.T. Dupont Pop-up store at Le Bon Marché, located at 24 rue de Sèvres, 75007 Paris, France, between November 17 and December 31, 2025, inclusive, during the store's opening hours.
To participate, each candidate must visit the Pop-up store, scan a QR code, complete a form, and submit it from their mobile phone or tablet.
Participation is strictly limited to one QR code scan and one form submission per person for the entire duration of the Contest. Any attempt at multiple participations or any submission not complying with the conditions set out in these rules will be considered invalid and may lead to the participant's definitive exclusion.
The Organizing Company reserves the right to verify the conformity of participations at any time, notably by requesting proof of identity. In the event of non-compliance with these terms or proven fraud, the participation will be immediately canceled.
Participation in the Contest is free and does not require any purchase. All valid participations will be entered into a prize draw in accordance with the provisions of these rules.
Article 4: Results and Awarding of Lots
At the end of the Contest, a random draw will be organized by the
Organizing Company from among all valid entries that meet
the terms and conditions set out in these rules. The random draw will take place
on December 8, 2025, at the registered office of the Organizing Company or
any other location designated by the latter. This random draw will be conducted electronically
using secure software.
Only one winner will be selected during this random draw. The
selected participant will win an ashtray from the S.T. Dupont brand from
the limited edition Jules VERNE, with the following references: product name
in the S.T. Dupont catalog (nomenclature): royal blue porcelain ashtray, product reference
code (internal to S.T. Dupont): 006153, international
article number (EAN): 3597390312297, with an indicative value of €250
(two hundred and fifty euros).
The winner will be immediately contacted by the Organizing
Company by telephone. If there is no response within seven (7)
days, the Organizing Company reserves the right to award the prize to another
participant designated by a new random draw conducted
electronically using secure software.
The prize will be awarded by the Organizing Company in
a VIP ("very important person") lounge,
within the Le Bon Marché store located at 24 rue de Sèvres in Paris,
reserved and privatized by the Organizing Company.
In case of justified impossibility, the prize may be sent by
post to the address provided by the winner.
The Organizing Company cannot be held responsible for
loss, theft, or damage to the prize after it has been given to the winner.
The prize awarded may under no circumstances be exchanged for
another S.T. Dupont product or for financial compensation,
nor ceded or transferred to a third party. In case of force majeure, the Organizing
Company reserves the right to replace the prize with another prize of
equivalent value.
Article 5: Disqualification
The Organizing Company reserves the right to definitively exclude any participant from the Contest in the event of non-compliance with the conditions set out in these rules. This includes, but is not limited to, cases of proven fraud, attempted cheating or circumvention of the rules, such as the use of false identities, sending non-compliant content in the form, and multiple entries from one or more mobile phones or tablets.
In the event of a breach, the offending participant will be immediately disqualified, without prior notice or additional justification from the Organizing Company. Disqualification entails the loss of all rights related to the Contest, including the right to receive any prize. If the prize has already been awarded, the Organizing Company reserves the right to reclaim it and redistribute it to another eligible participant, in accordance with the terms of these rules.
The Organizing Company also reserves the right to take legal action against any participant found guilty of fraud or attempted manipulation that would undermine the integrity or proper conduct of the Contest.
Article 6: Exemption from Liability
The Organizing Company shall not be held responsible for any technical malfunctions, connection problems, data loss, interruptions, or any other incidents beyond its control that may occur during participation in the Contest. These contingencies include, but are not limited to, errors due to telecommunications operators or internet access.
In the event of cancellation, postponement, or modification of the Contest for reasons beyond its control, such as unforeseen circumstances or force majeure events, the Organizing Company cannot be held responsible. However, it undertakes to inform participants as soon as possible and to ensure fair management of the situation.
Similarly, the Organizing Company disclaims all responsibility in case of loss, theft, damage, or misuse of the prize once it has been handed over to the winner. It shall not be held responsible for any consequences related to the use of the prize by the winner or a third party.
Participation in the Contest implies full and complete acceptance of the characteristics and limitations of digital networks, including risks related to data interruption or corruption, fraudulent intrusions, and security flaws. Participants acknowledge that the complete security of electronic communications cannot be guaranteed.
Finally, the Organizing Company shall not be held responsible for any direct or indirect damages that may result from participation in the Contest, errors in participation, or the inability to participate for reasons beyond its control.
Article 7: Consultation and modification of the rules
These Contest Rules are made available free of charge to participants for consultation. They are accessible throughout the duration of the Contest at the following addresses:

Participation in the Contest implies the full and unreserved acceptance of these rules by the participants, without possibility of complaint relating to its terms.
The Organizing Company reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the Contest, or to adjust the conditions of access and modalities, if circumstances beyond its control so require. Any modification will be brought to the attention of participants by means of an amendment, which will be accessible under the same conditions as the initial regulations.
The modifications made to the regulations will come into effect upon communication of the amendment and will automatically apply to all participants, including those who have already participated in the Contest before the modification. Participants are invited to regularly consult the regulations to be aware of any changes.
No indemnification or compensation may be claimed by participants following a modification, suspension or cancellation of the Contest.
Article 8: Intellectual property
The brands, logos, trade names, and any other intellectual property elements used in the context of the Contest, including those relating to S.T. Dupont brands, LE BON MARCHE MAISON ARISTIDE BOUCICAUT brands, and any product presented, are the exclusive property of their respective owners. Any reproduction, representation, exploitation, transmission, modification, or use, in whole or in part, of these elements, by any means whatsoever, without the prior written authorization of the rights holders, is strictly prohibited and would constitute a violation of applicable intellectual property laws.
Participation in the Contest does not, under any circumstances, grant the participant any ownership rights or licenses over the elements protected by intellectual property rights belonging to the Organizing Company or its partners. The content created and distributed within the framework of the Contest by the Organizing Company, including visuals, photos, videos, and communication materials, also remains its exclusive property.
Any violation of the provisions of this article exposes the offender to civil and/or criminal proceedings, in accordance with the legal provisions in force. The Organizing Company reserves the right to claim compensation for any damage suffered due to unauthorized use of its intellectual property elements.
By participating in the Contest, participants expressly accept these provisions regarding the protection of intellectual property rights.
Article 9: Personal Data Protection
As part of the Contest, the
Organising Company collects and processes participants' personal data,
such as their first name, last name, email address, postal address, and telephone
number. This information is essential for managing the Contest, particularly for
verifying participants' eligibility, contacting the winner, and delivering the prize.
The Organising Company undertakes
to comply with Regulation No. 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 ("GDPR"), as
well as Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, known as the "Data Protection Act," as
amended, and any law, directive or regulation that may supplement or replace it. The
personal data collected will be used exclusively within the framework of the Contest
and retained only for the period necessary for its management, until the prize is delivered, extended by
three (3) years if the participant has consented to receive commercial offers
or information about S.T. Dupont products.
Participants have rights regarding
their personal data, including the right of access, rectification,
erasure, restriction, objection, and portability, which they can exercise at any
time by contacting the Organising Company by
email at the following address: rgpd@st-dupont.com.
Furthermore, they can withdraw their consent to receive commercial communications at any time,
by using the unsubscribe link in the Organising Company's emails.
The Organising Company takes
all necessary technical and organisational measures to ensure the
security and confidentiality of the personal data collected.
By participating in the Contest,
participants agree that their data may be used in accordance with the provisions
set forth in this article. In the event of a dispute concerning the processing of their
personal data, participants have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale de
l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) in France.
Article 10: Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These rules are governed exclusively by French law.
Any question relating to the validity, interpretation or execution of these
rules will be examined in accordance with this legislation.
In the event of disagreement or dispute concerning the Competition, participants
and the Organizing Company will endeavor to find an amicable solution within
two (2) months from the date the dispute arises. Claims must be made in
writing and sent to the Organizing Company by post to the following address: S.T.
Dupont, 92 boulevard du Montparnasse, 75014 Paris, France, or by email to the
following address: jeuconcours@st-dupont.com.
In the absence of an amicable resolution within the time limit, any dispute or
litigation relating to the validity, interpretation or execution of these rules
will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts, and more
specifically the courts of Paris.
Any request or dispute concerning the Competition must be sent in writing
within two (2) months after the end date of the Competition. After this period,
any request or claim will be considered inadmissible.
Participation in the Competition
implies full and unreserved acceptance of the jurisdiction of the French courts
to settle any possible dispute related to these rules.
Article 11: Acceptance of the Rules
Participation in the Contest implies full and unreserved acceptance of these rules by participants. Any breach of any of the provisions of the rules will result in the immediate cancellation of the participation concerned and, if applicable, the return of the prize awarded.
These rules can be consulted free of charge throughout the duration of the Contest.
Any modification or adaptation of these rules will be subject to an amendment, which will be communicated to participants by means deemed appropriate by the Organizing Company, such as by email, and which will be accessible under the same conditions as these rules.
In the event of a discrepancy between the provisions of these rules and the statements or interpretations arising from communication materials or third-party declarations, only these rules shall prevail.
The possible nullity of one of the clauses of these rules will not affect the validity of the other clauses.
