Rules for the S.T. Dupont Jules Verne Contest at its pop-up store at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann from November 12 to December 2, 2025
Article 1: Contest Organizing Company
This contest, titled "S.T. Dupont Jules VERNE Contest at its pop-up store at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann from November 12 to December 2, 2025" (hereinafter referred to as the "Contest"), is organized by S.T. Dupont, a French public limited company with a Management Board and Supervisory Board, with a share capital of 14,155,547.94 euros, having its registered office at 92 boulevard du Montparnasse, 75014 Paris, France, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 572 230 829 (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizing Company").
The Contest is organized on the occasion of the opening of S.T. Dupont's ephemeral store or pop-up store (hereinafter referred to as the "Pop-up") from November 12 to December 2, 2025, within the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann store located at 40 boulevard Haussmann, 75009 Paris, France, a store operating under the Galeries Lafayette brand, operated by Galeries Lafayette Management, a simplified joint-stock company, with a share capital of 147,184,338 euros, having its registered office at 27 rue de Châteaudun, 75009 Paris, France, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 552 116 329.
This Contest will take place during the same period as the Pop-up's opening, from November 12 to December 2, 2025, during the store's opening hours.
The purpose of the Contest is to promote the S.T. Dupont brand and its products in an interactive setting, engaging visitors to the Pop-up.
Participation in the Contest is entirely free, with no purchase obligation, and is limited to the terms described in these rules.
Article 2: Conditions for participation
The Contest is open to any natural person aged eighteen (18) or over at the time of their participation, residing in mainland France, with Internet access. Participants must go to the Pop-up location, scan a QR code, complete a form and send it from their mobile phone or tablet for their participation to be taken into account.
Excluded from the Contest are employees of the Organizing Company, partners or subcontractors who contributed to the organization, promotion or realization of the Contest, as well as their immediate family members, defined as spouses, ascendants, descendants, siblings living or not living under the same roof.
To be eligible, each participant must comply with the terms of these rules and all applicable laws and regulations. Any attempt to defraud or circumvent the stated rules, by any means whatsoever, will result in the immediate and definitive exclusion of the participant. The Organizing Company also reserves the right to request any supporting identity or eligibility documents to verify compliance with the conditions of participation.
Only one entry per person will be accepted for the entire duration of the Contest. Any multiple or non-compliant entry will result in the exclusion of the participant concerned. The mere fact of participating in the Contest implies the unreserved and full acceptance of these rules by the participant.
Article 3: Terms and conditions of participation
The Contest takes place exclusively at the S.T. Dupont Pop-up store at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, located at 40 boulevard Haussmann, 75009 Paris, France, between November 12 and December 2, 2025, during the store's opening hours.
To participate, each candidate must go to the Pop-up location, scan a QR code, complete a form and submit it from their mobile phone or tablet.
Participation is strictly limited to one QR code scan and one form submission per person for the entire duration of the Contest. Any attempt at multiple participation or any submission that does not comply with the conditions set out in these rules will be considered invalid and may lead to the permanent exclusion of the participant.
The Organizing Company reserves the right to check the compliance of participations at any time, in particular by requesting proof of identity. In the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions or proven fraud, the participation will be immediately cancelled.
Participation in the Contest is free and does not require any purchase. All valid participations will be included in a draw in accordance with the provisions of these rules.
Article 4: Results and Awarding of the Prize
At the end of the Contest, a random draw will be organized by the Organizing Company among all valid entries respecting the terms and conditions set forth in these rules. The draw will take place on December 8, 2025, at the head office of the Organizing Company or any other location designated by the latter. This draw will be carried out electronically using secure software.
Only one winner will be designated during this draw. The selected participant will win an ashtray from the S.T. Dupont brand from the Jules VERNE limited edition, with the following references: product name in the S.T. Dupont catalog (nomenclature): royal blue porcelain ashtray, product reference code (internal to S.T. Dupont): 006153, international article number (EAN): 3597390312297, with an indicative value of €250 (two hundred and fifty euros).
The winner will be immediately contacted by the Organizing Company by phone. In the absence of a response within seven (7) days, the Organizing Company reserves the right to award the prize to another participant designated by a new draw carried out electronically using secure software.
The prize will be awarded by the Organizing Company in a VIP (very important person) lounge, located within the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann store at 40 boulevard Haussmann in Paris, reserved and privatized by the Organizing Company. In case of justified impossibility, the prize may be sent by post to the address provided by the winner.
The Organizing Company cannot be held responsible in case of loss, theft or deterioration of the prize after it has been given to the winner.
The prize awarded may under no circumstances be exchanged for another product of the S.T. Dupont brand or for financial compensation, nor transferred or assigned to a third party. In case of force majeure, the Organizing Company reserves the right to replace the prize with another prize of equivalent value.
Article 5: Disqualification
The Organizing Company reserves the right to definitively exclude any participant from the Contest in the event of non-compliance with the conditions set out in these rules. This includes, but is not limited to, cases of proven fraud, attempted cheating or circumvention of the rules, such as the use of false identities, the submission of non-compliant content in the form, and the multiplication of participations from one or more mobile phones or tablets.
In the event of a breach, the offending participant will be immediately disqualified, without prior notice or further justification from the Organizing Company. Disqualification results in the loss of all rights related to the Contest, including the obtaining of any prize. If the prize has already been awarded, the Organizing Company reserves the right to reclaim it and redistribute it to another eligible participant, in accordance with the terms of these rules.
The Organizing Company also reserves the right to take legal action against any participant found guilty of fraud or attempted manipulation that would harm the integrity or smooth running of the Contest.
Article 6: Exemption from liability
The Organizing Company shall not be held responsible for any technical malfunctions, connection problems, data losses, interruptions, or any other incidents beyond its control that may occur during participation in the Contest. These risks include, but are not limited to, errors due to telecommunications operators or internet access.
In the event of cancellation, postponement, or modification of the Contest for reasons beyond its control, such as unforeseen circumstances or force majeure events, the Organizing Company shall not be held responsible. However, it undertakes to inform participants as soon as possible and to ensure fair management of the situation.
Similarly, the Organizing Company disclaims all responsibility in case of loss, theft, deterioration, or misuse of the prize once it has been handed over to the winner. It shall not be held responsible for any potential consequences related to the use of the prize by the winner or a third party.
Participation in the Contest implies full and unreserved acceptance of the characteristics and limitations of digital networks, including risks related to data interruption or corruption, fraudulent intrusions, and security flaws. Participants acknowledge that the total security of electronic communications cannot be guaranteed.
Finally, the Organizing Company shall not be held responsible for any direct or indirect damage that may result from participation in the Contest, errors in participation, or the impossibility to participate for reasons beyond its control.
Article 7: Consultation and amendment of the rules
These Contest rules are available to participants free of charge for consultation. They are accessible throughout the Contest at the following addresses:

Participation in the Contest implies full and unreserved acceptance of these rules by participants, without the possibility of any claim relating to their terms.
The Organizing Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest, or to adjust its access conditions and procedures, if circumstances beyond its control require it. Any modification will be brought to the attention of participants by means of an addendum, which will be accessible under the same conditions as the original rules.
Modifications to the rules will take effect upon communication of the addendum and will automatically apply to all participants, including those who have already participated in the Contest before the modification. Participants are invited to consult the rules regularly to be aware of any changes.
No indemnity or compensation may be claimed by participants following any modification, suspension, or cancellation of the Contest.
Article 8: Intellectual Property
The trademarks, logos, trade names, and all other intellectual property elements used in connection with the Contest, including those related to the "S.T. Dupont" brand, the "Galeries Lafayette" brand, and any product presented, are the exclusive property of their respective owners. Any reproduction, representation, exploitation, transmission, modification, or use, whether in whole or in part, of these elements, by any means whatsoever, without the prior written authorization of the rights holders, is strictly prohibited and would constitute a violation of applicable intellectual property laws.
Participation in the Contest does not, under any circumstances, grant the participant any ownership or license rights over the elements protected by intellectual property rights belonging to the Organizing Company or its partners. Content created and disseminated in connection with the Contest by the Organizing Company, including visuals, photos, videos, and communication materials, also remains its exclusive property.
Any violation of the provisions of this article exposes the offender to civil and/or criminal proceedings, in accordance with the legal provisions in force. The Organizing Company reserves the right to claim compensation for any damage suffered due to unauthorized use of its intellectual property elements.
By participating in the Contest, participants expressly accept these provisions relating to the protection of intellectual property rights.
Article 9: Protection of personal data
As part of the Contest, the Organizing Company collects and processes participants' personal data, such as their first name, last name, email address, postal address, and telephone number. This information is essential for managing the Contest, particularly for verifying participants' eligibility, contacting the winner, and awarding the prize.
The Organizing Company undertakes to comply with Regulation No. 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 ("GDPR"), as well as Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, known as the "Data Protection Act," as amended, and any law, directive, or regulation that may supplement or replace it. The personal data collected will be used exclusively within the framework of the Contest and kept only for the duration necessary for its management, until the prize is awarded, extended by three (3) years if the participant has consented to receive commercial offers or information about S.T. Dupont products.
Participants have rights regarding their personal data, including the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, opposition, and portability, which they can exercise at any time by contacting the Organizing Company by email at the following address: rgpd@st-dupont.com. In addition, they can withdraw their consent to receive commercial communications by using the unsubscribe link included in the Organizing Company's emails, without affecting their participation in the Contest.
The Organizing Company takes all necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the personal data collected.
By participating in the Contest, participants agree that their data may be used in accordance with the provisions set out in this article. In the event of a dispute concerning the processing of their personal data, participants have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) in France.

Article 10: Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These rules are governed exclusively by French law. Any question relating to the validity, interpretation or execution of the rules will be examined in accordance with this legislation.
In the event of disagreement or dispute concerning the Contest, the participants and the Organising Company will endeavor to find an amicable solution within two (2) months from the date of the dispute. Complaints must be made in writing and addressed to the Organising Company by post at the following address: S.T. Dupont, 92 boulevard du Montparnasse, 75014 Paris, France, or by email at the following address: jeuconcours@st-dupont.com.
Failing an amicable resolution within the allotted time, any disagreement or dispute relating to the validity, interpretation or execution of these rules will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts, and more specifically the courts of Paris.
Any request or dispute concerning the Contest must be sent in writing within two (2) months after the end date of the Contest. After this period, any request or claim will be considered inadmissible.
Participation in the Contest implies full and complete acceptance of the jurisdiction of the French courts to settle any dispute that may arise in connection with these rules.
Article 11: Acceptance of the Rules
Participation in the Contest implies the participants' full and unreserved acceptance of these rules. Any breach of any of the provisions of the rules will result in the immediate cancellation of the participation concerned and, if applicable, the return of the prize awarded.
These rules can be consulted free of charge throughout the Contest period.
Any modification or adaptation of these rules will be subject to an amendment, which will be communicated to participants by means deemed appropriate by the Organizing Company, such as by email, and which will be accessible under the same conditions as these rules.
In the event of a discrepancy between the provisions of these rules and the statements or interpretations arising from communication materials or third-party statements, only these rules shall prevail.
The possible nullity of one of the clauses of these rules will not affect the validity of the other clauses.
