A wind of modernity is blowing over the Land of the Rising Sun. In February 2025, S.T. Dupont will open its very first concept store in Tokyo, on the bustling and iconic Ginza Avenue. A true crossroads of luxury and modernity, Ginza now hosts the most contemporary expression of S.T. Dupont's heritage, between timeless elegance and audacious innovation.

A store as a manifesto

After Paris (rue Saint-Honoré), Hong Kong, and Harvey Nichols in Pacific Place, this new Tokyo address embodies a reinvented vision of luxury. Designed by the prestigious Sybarite studio, the architectural concept draws direct inspiration from the House's very first iconic lighter, created in the 1940s. A pioneering object, symbolizing a perfect balance between function and refinement, now reinterpreted in a store.

The interior design pays tribute to S.T. Dupont's codes: noble materials, graphic lines, emblematic guilloché patterns, lacquer effects, and shades inspired by flame. From electric blue to navy blue, from soft peach to incandescent yellow, the colors create contrasting atmospheres, mirroring the House's signature double flame.

An immersive journey

From the entrance, flanked by ribbed pillars evoking the body of the lighter, the tone is set. The mirrored floor and ceiling guide visitors through a sensory journey, from the soft leather of leather goods to the solidity of lighters and writing instruments.

At the center of this refined scenography, a monumental inverted pyramid-shaped chandelier, suspended from a steel-gridded ceiling, captures the eye. Adorned with traditional washi paper, it weaves a subtle link between Japanese craftsmanship and French heritage.

The store's layout, inspired by the famous "diamond head" and the double flame, structures the space like a jewel box. Every detail evokes the values dear to S.T. Dupont: artisanal excellence, constant innovation, French elegance.

It is an experience, a manifesto. It is for those who, like the House, refuse stagnation, embrace modernity without denying their past, and light a new flame.
