An exceptional anniversary collection
To mark the 60th anniversary of Cohiba, a prestigious Habanos and cigar brand, S.T. Dupont unveils two series of limited editions celebrating the encounter of these two Maisons, symbols of exceptional craftsmanship, sophistication, and a transcendent heritage of majesty and refinement.
This anniversary collection seals and sublimates the bond between Cohiba and S.T. Dupont, an iconic Maison of French savoir-faire and the relentless pursuit of excellence and mastery.
Origins
Cohiba's unique character is rooted in the ancestral traditions of Cuban tobacco. In 1492, when Christopher Columbus landed on the coasts of Cuba, he discovered that indigenous communities rolled and smoked leaves called "cohiba" as part of their sacred rituals.
Centuries later, in 1966, this heritage inspired the name of a brand destined to become a universal symbol of distinction and rarity.
Born in absolute secrecy, Cohiba was exclusive even before it was named. Reserved for heads of state and diplomats visiting Cuba, it cultivated a discretion that fueled its prestige and stirred the desire of Habanos aficionados worldwide. Officially introduced internationally in 1982, it then embarked on a trajectory of success and exclusivity that continues to this day.
Across the Atlantic, S.T. Dupont has been crafting the excellence of French luxury since 1872. Each creation, from lighters to ashtrays, is the result of unique artisanal savoir-faire perfected over 150 years.
